Following the official publication of the results by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC). The notice aims to guide applicants on the next steps required to complete their admission processes for the 2025/2026 academic year.
According to the Directorate, the University’s online application portal (apply.ucc.edu.gh) remains open until Friday, 5th December, 2025, giving applicants a limited window to verify their details or complete their applications.
Applicants Urged to Verify Personal and Academic Information
The University emphasized the need for all awaiting-results applicants to log into the admissions portal with their e-voucher details specifically their Serial Number and PIN to confirm the accuracy of critical information. Applicants are to cross-check:
- Full names
- WASSCE index number(s)
- Choice of programmes
Ensuring that these details are correct is essential for the smooth processing of their applications and subsequent admission consideration.
Guidelines for Applicants with Existing Results
The notice also addressed applicants who sat for the November/December WASSCE examinations but did not use those results during their initial applications. UCC advises such applicants to update their applications by adding the Nov/Dec results as second sitting results.
Instructions for New Applicants
The Directorate further outlined clear instructions for all new applicants to ensure they select the correct application type:
1. 2025 WASSCE Candidates : Awaiting Results Application
Applicants in this category do not need to verify their results themselves. UCC will obtain and verify the results directly from WAEC.
2. 2024 or Older WASSCE Results Candidates WASSCE Application
These applicants must personally verify their results during the application process before submission. Failure to verify may affect their eligibility or delay processing.
Admission Status for Earlier Applicants
Individuals who applied earlier using their existing WASSCE results have been instructed to check their admission status on UCC’s official admission list portal (admissionlist.ucc.edu.gh) and print their admission letters if offered a place.
