Personnel of the National Service Scheme (NSS) can now create an Ignition Account directly through the portal using Absa Bank Ghana Limited. This process is simple and can be completed online by following the steps below.
Steps to Create an Ignition Account
1. Visit Your NSS Portal
Log in to your National Service portal using your credentials.

2. Navigate to Bank Account Section
Locate and select the Bank Account link on the portal.
3. Select Your Bank
From the list of available banks, choose Absa Bank Limited.
4. Choose Account Option
You will be presented with two options:
If you already have an existing account
- Select "Yes, I have an existing account" and proceed to provide the required details.
If you do not have an account
- Select "No, I want to open a new Absa Ignition Account" to begin the account creation process.
5. Provide Required Information
You will be asked to submit necessary particulars such as:
- Nationality
- Personal information
- Other required details
6. Photo Verification
A photo verification process will be required to complete your account setup. Follow the on-screen instructions carefully.
7. Complete the Process
Once all details are submitted and verified, your Ignition Account will be created successfully.
