The National Teaching Council has not yet released the results of the 2026 GTLE I examination. However, there are expectations regarding when the 2026 GTLE II examination is likely to commence.
According to current projections, the 2026 GTLE II examination is expected to take place around August 2026. This is because final-year students in the Colleges of Education are expected to complete their four-year academic programme around that same period.
Following recent reforms, the Teacher Licensure Examination has now been integrated into the academic process, allowing final-year students to write the examination immediately after completing their final examinations.

It is also expected that the 2026 GTLE I results will be released before the commencement of GTLE II, giving candidates who were unsuccessful the opportunity to join the next batch of candidates to rewrite the examination.
However, it is important to note that the National Teaching Council has not officially announced any date for the commencement of GTLE II. Therefore, this remains only an estimated time frame based on the current academic calendar and available information.
