The Ministry of Health, Republic of Ghana, in partnership with the Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis, has announced an exciting recruitment opportunity for qualified professional nurses.
This initiative seeks experienced and dedicated nurses who are interested in a challenging yet rewarding career opportunity in Saint Kitts and Nevis.
Available Positions
The recruitment covers the following nursing categories:
1. Registered General Nurses (Medical Ward)
Applicants must have experience in adult medical ward care within hospital settings.
2. Registered General Nurses (Private Ward)
Candidates should have experience in private or specialist ward care, with the ability to provide individualized patient care.
3. Community Health Nurses
Applicants must be trained in community-based healthcare delivery, including public health education and preventive services.
Qualification & Experience
To be eligible, applicants must:
Meet the regulatory requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana
- Have a minimum of five (5) years of working experience
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
Application Requirements
Applicants are required to submit the following documents:
1. Two (2) photocopies of an up-to-date CV
2. Original and three (3) photocopies of relevant medical academic certificates
3. Original and two (2) photocopies of certificates for verification purposes
4. Original and two (2) photocopies of certificate of registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana
5. Original and two (2) photocopies of certificate of good standing
6. Original and two (2) photocopies of a criminal record (CID report) from the Ghana Police Service (covering the past six months)
7. Original and two (2) reference letters dated within the last six (6) months
8. Two (2) additional reference letters dated within the last six (6) months
9. An endorsed recent passport-size photograph with a white background
10. Original and two (2) photocopies of certificate of change of name (if applicable)
11. Original and two (2) photocopies of birth certificate
12. Original and two (2) photocopies of immunization certificate
