The Ministry of the Interior Ghana, in collaboration with the recruiting agencies, has issued an important notice to all applicants regarding the upcoming medical screening exercise.
According to the statement, no SMS notifications concerning the medical screening have yet been sent to any applicant. The Ministry clarified that official SMS notifications will only be dispatched between 29th and 31st March 2026.
The medical screening exercise is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, 7th April 2026, and will take place at designated centers across all regions of the country.
Warning Against Fraudulent Messages
Applicants have been strongly cautioned to remain vigilant and avoid falling victim to fraudulent SMS messages from unknown sources requesting payment for the screening process. The Ministry emphasized that all official SMS communications will come exclusively from the authorized sender ID: CSERP.
Important Instructions for Applicants
Qualified applicants are advised to monitor their application status closely. Once SMS notifications are sent, their status on the recruitment portal will change from “Qualified” to “Medical Screening.”
Applicants are urged to:
- Carefully verify any SMS received
- Confirm the change in their application status before making any payment
- Use only the secure web checkout system on the official portal for payments
- No Mobile Money Payments
The Ministry further stressed that no applicant will be required to send money directly to any mobile money number. Any such request should be treated as fraudulent.
