Will I Pay for GTLE Resit Paper? — And Whether the Portal Has Opened for New and Resit Registration

The National Teaching Council (NTC) has officially released the results for the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) II. Unfortunately, many candidates did not pass, leading to increased concerns about the resit process and associated costs.

• So, will i pay for a GTLE resit paper?

The answer is a clear YES.

Candidates who failed one or more papers will need to resit and pay for each paper accordingly. Below is the breakdown of the approved fees:

Fresh candidates (all three papers)	450.00
Resitting one paper	150.00
Resitting two papers	210.00
Resitting all three papers	385.00
Indexing fee (fresh candidates only)	50.00

Candidates are advised not to make any payments until proper indexing is confirmed by NTC. Payments made without proper verification will not be refunded. This information goes to the new registration

Confirmation on the Portal Opening

There is currently a rumor that the NTC has opened the portal for new registration and resits. However, this is false.  

As of now, the NTC has not released any official communication regarding the opening of the portal.
