The Ghana Education Service (GES) has clarified the process for issuing appointment letters to successful applicants in the 2026 teacher recruitment exercise.
According to the latest information, appointment letters will not be uploaded to the GES recruitment portal. Instead, successful applicants are expected to complete the next stage of the recruitment process by visiting their assigned Regional Education Office.
Applicants should follow these steps:
1. Log in to the GES recruitment portal using their credentials.
2. Check the region assigned to them on their dashboard.
3. Report to the assigned Regional Education Office from Friday, 7 August 2026, to begin the onboarding process.
During the onboarding process, applicants will be issued their official posting letters at the Regional Office. They will then use these letters to report to their respective District Education Offices for further processing and assumption of duty.

Successful applicants are therefore advised not to wait for an appointment letter to appear on the recruitment portal, as all appointment and posting documents will be issued physically at the designated Regional Education Offices.
Applicants should also ensure they report on time and carry any required documents to avoid delays in completing the onboarding process.
