The National Service Authority (NSA) has outlined a clear process for all National Service Personnel (NSP) to complete their registration and validation for the 2026/2027 service year. Following endorsement by your user agency, every personnel is required to book an appointment through the official NSA portal for regional validation and final acceptance.
Below is a detailed guide to help you navigate the process smoothly.
Step 1: Log in and Print Appointment Letter
Visit the official NSA website: https://gnsa.gov.gh
Log in using the email address and password you used during registration. After logging in:
- Check your posting details
- Print a copy of your appointment letter
Step 2: Get Endorsement from User Agency
Proceed to your assigned organization (user agency) with your appointment letter.
Ensure that:
- The Head of the Organization or HR Director endorses the letter
- The document is stamped with the official seal
Step 3: Book Appointment for Validation
After endorsement, return to the NSA portal and:
- Schedule an appointment for regional validation
Select your preferred date and time for the process
Step 4: Visit Regional Registration Centre
Personnel who have completed the above steps should report to their designated NSA Regional/Zonal Registration Centre for:
- Validation of documents
- Official registration
- Issuance of Regional Acceptance Number (RAN)
Step 5: Facial Identity Verification
At the registration centre, officials will guide you through a facial recognition process to:
Confirm your identity
Complete biometric verification
Step 6: Final Documentation and Submission
Once your identity is confirmed:
- Print a new appointment letter that includes your RAN
- Make three photocopies of the document
Submit copies as follows:
- One to the NSA District Office
- One to your user agency
- Keep one copy for personal records
Important Notice
Only personnel who have successfully booked appointments will be attended to at the registration centres.
Personnel who are rejected or released by their user agency must report to the NSA Regional Office to restart the process.
