Students Loan Trust Fund has announced the final deadlines for the upload of admission data and validation of student details under the government’s No Fees Stress policy for the 2025/2026 academic year.
In a press release dated March 10, 2026, the Fund informed all public tertiary institutions that the deadline for uploading admission lists of newly admitted students onto the No Fees Stress Portal is 20th March 2026.
Student Validation Deadline
The statement further explained that all admitted first-year students must confirm and validate their admission details on the portal by 30th April 2026. This validation process is necessary to enable students to benefit from the government’s No Academic Fees policy, which provides financial support for academic fees.
Importance of the Deadline
According to the Fund, these deadlines represent the final opportunity for public tertiary institutions to submit admission data for eligible students, as well as the last chance for first-year students to validate their records. Completing these steps will allow the SLTF to process and disburse academic fee support promptly.
Current Data Submitted
The Fund disclosed that it has so far received admission data for 160,735 students. Out of this number, 134,543 students have already validated their admission details on the portal.
SLTF emphasized that the complete submission and validation of admission data is critical to ensure that every eligible student benefits from the No Fees Stress initiative.
Call to Institutions and Students
The Fund therefore urged all institutions and admitted students to strictly adhere to the announced timelines to guarantee the smooth and effective implementation of the policy.
