Apply Now: National Identification Authority Opens Temporary Recruitment for Children’s Registration Exercise




The National Identification Authority (NIA) has officially announced a temporary recruitment exercise to support its upcoming mass registration of children aged 6–14 years across Ghana.



This nationwide initiative forms part of the government’s efforts to expand and strengthen the National Identity Register by capturing the biometric and personal data of eligible children. The exercise will ensure that more young citizens are enrolled in the national identification system at an early stage.



According to the announcement, the recruitment is strictly temporary, and successful applicants will be engaged on a short-term contract to assist with the registration process in various operational roles.




Available Positions

Qualified and interested individuals can apply for the following positions:

  • Technical Support Officer (Technician)
  • Commissioner for Oath (CFO)
  • Card Verification Officer (CVO)
  • Mobile Registration Workstation Operator (MRWO)
  • Registration Officer (RO)


Each of these roles will play an important part in ensuring that the registration process runs smoothly across the country.
