PRINCOF Announces Early Christmas Break for Colleges of Education

The National Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education, Ghana (PRINCOF), has announced a revised schedule for the Christmas break for all public Colleges of Education across the country. Instead of the previously planned break starting on December 20th, the Christmas break will now begin earlier, from December 12th.

This change is intended to provide sufficient time for colleges to complete the admission process for applicants awaiting their 2025 WASSCE results. It also allows these newly admitted students ample time to prepare and report when the academic calendar resumes in January.

PRINCOF has requested all principals to take the necessary steps to close their institutions by the indicated date while ensuring that security, essential services, and ongoing administrative activities continue without disruption during the break.

Dr. Samuel Addae-Boateng, General Secretary of PRINCOF, signed the directive and emphasized the importance of cooperation among all principals to maintain educational excellence and administrative efficiency throughout the Colleges of Education nationwide.
