The Bono East Regional Education Directorate of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has opened an opportunity for suitably qualified professional teachers currently teaching in basic schools to express their interest in being reposted to Senior High Schools (SHS) and Senior High Technical Schools (SHTS) within the Bono East Region.
The opportunity is intended to fill existing subject vacancies in selected SHS/SHTS across the region.
Teachers Wanted in 20 Subject Areas
According to the notice dated 29 September 2026, teachers with the required academic background, subject knowledge, professional competence and experience are invited to apply.

5. Social Studies

7. Literature in English
8. Wood Technology
9. Physics

16. Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
17. Christian Religious Studies (CRS)
18. General Science
19. Ghanaian Language (Asante Twi)

Eligibility Requirements
Interested teachers must have the relevant subject knowledge, academic background, professional competence and experience required to teach effectively at the SHS/SHTS level.
The invitation is specifically targeted at professional teachers currently teaching in basic schools who possess the requisite qualifications and competence in the subject area for which they are applying.

Eligible teachers who wish to be considered for the reposting opportunity are required to submit:
