Why Are Colleges of Education Introducing Entrance Examinations?

Information gathered by Lincoln Media Resourcez Edu indicates that one of the major concerns behind the introduction of entrance examinations is the growing concern over examination malpractice.

The entrance examination is expected to provide an additional means of assessing applicants before admission and may help institutions identify candidates who demonstrate the required academic ability.

It is also expected that the process could contribute to efforts aimed at reducing examination malpractice and improving the quality of students admitted into Colleges of Education.

Items Applicants May Need to Submit or Bring

Applicants who have been scheduled to write an entrance examination should prepare the necessary documents and materials.

These may include:

  • Payment receipt
  • Valid Ghana Card
  • Pen
  • Pencil
  • Eraser

Candidates should also check the instructions contained in their examination invitation messages, as individual colleges may have additional requirements.

Applicants Advised to Check Their SMS Regularly

Applicants are strongly advised to check their SMS inboxes regularly for messages from their respective Colleges of Education.

Candidates who have been shortlisted or invited for an entrance examination should pay close attention to information regarding the date, time, venue, examination fee, subjects and items to bring.

Missing an official SMS or failing to follow the instructions provided by a college could result in an applicant missing the scheduled examination.

Information gathered indicate that it will be the decision of the Principal of the College you purchased their form to let their Applicant write entrance examination or will not let their applicant write.
