The University of Cape Coast, through its Centre for Teacher Professional Development (CTPD), has officially announced a micro-teaching orientation exercise for all Level 300 Education students.
Orientation Details
The Micro-Teaching (On-Campus Teaching Practice) orientation is scheduled as follows:
- Date: Tuesday, 5th May, 2026
- Venue: Auditorium 900
- Location: Cape Coast
This orientation forms a crucial part of the teacher training process, preparing students for practical teaching experiences.
Group Arrangements
Due to the large number of students, participants have been divided into two groups:
Group 1
- Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
- Department of Science Education
- Department of Mathematics & ICT Education
- Department of Vocational and Technical Education
- Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation
Group 2
- Time: 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM
- Department of Basic Education
- Department of Business and Social Science Education
- Department of Arts Education
Important Notice
Heads of Departments have been urged to inform all Level 300 students to take note of the schedule and attend promptly.
The orientation is expected to equip students with the necessary teaching skills and guidelines ahead of their on-campus teaching practice.
