NSA Releases PIN Codes for 14,349 Trained Teachers for 2026/2027 National Service

The National Service Authority (NSA) has officially released Personal Identification Number (PIN) codes for 14,349 trained teachers to enable them enroll for the 2026/2027 National Service year.

In a public announcement issued on March 9, 2026, the Authority stated that the PIN codes were generated for eligible trained teachers whose institutions submitted their class lists to the NSA. Out of the 49 accredited Colleges of Education in Ghana, only 36 institutions submitted their class lists, making their graduates eligible to receive PIN codes at this stage.

According to the NSA, the released PIN codes will allow the qualified teachers to begin the registration process for the upcoming national service year. All eligible trained teachers are therefore required to visit the official NSA portal via https://gnsa.gov.gh/home click on the portal section, and access their PIN codes using their respective student ID numbers and dates of birth.

The Authority also noted that as part of the registration process, prospective service personnel are required to pay a registration fee of GH¢82.00 through Mobile Money across all networks in order to gain access to the enrollment platform.

The enrollment exercise officially began on March 9, 2026, and will end on March 20, 2026. Management of the NSA has therefore urged all prospective National Service personnel to complete their online registration within the stipulated period to avoid any inconvenience.

Furthermore, the Authority reminded the general public that under the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), every Ghanaian citizen aged 18 years or older who has completed an accredited tertiary institution including universities and Colleges of Educationis mandated by law to undertake national service to the state.

The statement was signed by Ruth Dela Seddoh, Director-General of the National Service Authority.

The announcement was copied to all accredited Colleges of Education and all prospective National Service personnel who are trained teachers.
