NSA Releases PIN Codes for 6,867 Nurses and Midwives for 2026/2027 Service Year

The National Service Authority (NSA) has released Personal Identification Number (PIN) codes for a total of 6,867 qualified nurses and midwives to enable them to enroll for the 2026/2027 National Service Year.

According to a press release issued by the Management of the Authority on Monday, January 19, 2026, the PIN codes are meant for eligible nurses and midwives who successfully completed their training and licensing requirements.

The release follows the submission of a list of qualified candidates by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana on Friday, January 16, 2026. The list comprises candidates who passed the March/April 2025 Licensing Examinations (minor season) conducted by the Council.

Eligible nurses and midwives are required to visit the Authority’s official website, https://gnsa.gov.gh/home, click on the portal, and access their PIN codes using their respective Student ID numbers and dates of birth.

As part of the registration process, prospective service personnel are required to pay a registration fee of GH¢41.00, which must be paid via Mobile Money across all networks in order to gain access to the enrolment platform.

The enrolment exercise officially begins today, January 19, 2026, and will end on January 23, 2026. Management of the Authority has therefore urged all prospective national service personnel to complete their online registration within the stipulated period to avoid any inconvenience.

The NSA further reminded the general public that, in accordance with the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), every Ghanaian citizen aged eighteen (18) years or older who has completed an accredited tertiary institution, including universities and Nursing Training Colleges, is mandated by law to undertake national service to the State.

The statement was signed by Ruth Dela SeddoH, Director-General of the National Service Authority.
