Candidates May Find Their Pedagogy Scores Marked as "IC" — This Is What It Means

As the National Teaching Council (NTC) prepares to release the 2025 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) 2 results, candidates are being alerted to two important updates that could affect their result status and certification.

Firstly, candidates who completed their teacher education programmes in 2025 will be able to view their results but will not be able to print their certificates until their graduation lists are finalized and officially submitted by their respective institutions. This measure ensures that only recognized graduates are issued licensure certificates, maintaining the integrity of the certification process.

Secondly, the NTC noted that some candidates may see their Pedagogy scores marked as "IC" (Incomplete). This typically applies to individuals whose institutions have not yet uploaded their teaching practice scores. Since the Pedagogy component of the GTLE partly relies on institutional input through teaching practice, failure to submit this data renders that section incomplete.

The NTC urges all teacher trainees and stakeholders to take note of these conditions and cooperate fully to ensure a smooth certification process.
